How It Started

Our Story

Boys Who Cook was founded with a simple but powerful idea, that teaching boys to cook is essential.

Which started as a simple idea is now developing into a social movement that I far believed was possible. I believe that when a boy learns to cook, he learns much more than recipes, he learns patience, creativity, teamwork, and self-reliance.

I started this organization because I saw a need in his community and decided to do something about it. At just 14 years old, I believed that every boy deserves the opportunity to discover the power of cooking.
