About Boys Who Cook
Learn about our story, mission, and the team behind our movement.
How It Started
Our Story
Boys Who Cook is built on a simple but powerful idea: teaching boys to cook matters. While cooking is often seen as just a basic life skill and catered to one gender, I see it as a way to build confidence, independence, and character.
Our mission is to empower young boys by challenging gender stereotypes around cooking and life skills, building a movement that creates confidence, independence, and equality for the next generation through cooking. Our vision is to empower young boys all over the world to build life skills such as confidence and independence through the art of cooking.
Through cooking, boys learn patience, creativity, teamwork, and self-reliance. The kitchen becomes a space to grow, take risks, and feel proud of what they create.
Boys Who Cook was created to fill a gap in how boys are encouraged to develop these skills and to make sure every boy has the opportunity to discover what theyβre capable of.
